My time machine

My time machine is broken.
The transmission grinds and moans.
The fabricator surely saw and knew:
what was, what is, what is yet to be.

My time machine is broken.
It only moves in one direction.
The conductor sees and knows:
what was, what is, what is yet to be.

My time machine is broken.
The clutch won't disengage.
I need the mechanic to come,
he will see and he will know:
How best to release its grip on the gears,
and at the right time transit into
what was, what is, what is yet to be.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all around and within, and day and night they never cease to say, “Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!”

God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM” And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

Then Jesus, knowing all that would happen to him, came forward and said to them, “Whom do you seek?” They answered him, “Jesus of Nazareth.” Jesus said to them, “I am he.” Judas, who betrayed him, was standing with them. When Jesus said to them, “I am he,” they drew back and fell to the ground.
