No Real Estate

I just don't have the emotional real estate for bitterness, contempt, and grudges.

These sour strangers to heaven's peace may pass through from time to time, with pretense to take up residence, but no lender here will give them credit. Even if by some misfortune they manage to disguise their purchasing power and debt-to-income ratio, there's no plot or lot available to sell them. All the earth is full of God's glory; all the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof.

If you see them loitering about, soliciting this or that, please point them to the signs posted everywhere— that is, the sign of the cross on every corner, at every intersection, in every window, at every entrance. If they can't read the name on the sign at the head of the cross ("Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews") then point them to the sign overhead throughout the whole of heaven and earth— the sign in the clouds renewed with every rain shower and thunderstorm, the radiant rainbow cascading from horizon to horizon, eminating from God's glorious throne of mercy: "the LORD is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love... "

"Pursue peace with everyone, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springs up and causes trouble, and through it many become defiled."

"You shall not go around as a slanderer among your people, and you shall not stand up against the life of your neighbor: I am the LORD."

“You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but you shall reason frankly with your neighbor, lest you incur sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD."
